It's Fair Time

Well it's South Plains Fair time!  Growing up in Amarillo, the Tri State Fair was always a big deal for me.  I always loved to see the animals and even the craft exhibits and shows.  Some of the highlight I remember most are: Working in the dunking booth and freezing!;  My brother whistling for my attention and knowing exactly who it was in the massive crowd of people; lots of friend moments that I am sure they would like for me to keep off of this blog; and probably the most life changing moment was Rick and my dad talking about permission for us to get married.  I know - at the fair?  What can I say?   Every year at the fair, I smell, hear, taste, or see something that brings back some wonderful memory of my days at the TSF.  I wonder what it will be this year.  Tell me your memories!
